This striking landscape is the Atacama Desert that straddles the land between Bolivia and Chile. We visited this region as part of our salt flats tour. We were usually between 3000 and 4000 meters in altitude and it was always cold and always dry. Our skin was cracked, our lips were bleeding, but the views were spectacular!
