Dugout Canoes. Children padding along the river. Nice colors. Awesome photo. The best part was when those children got to our boats we saw that there were filled with all kinds of critters from bugs to turtles…we could touch them if we wanted, for a price!

When I was first looking at this picture, I was almost sure it was taken somewhere in SE Asia! I’d love to go to Guatemala sometime.
I really like the photo with those water lilies and flowers shooting up.

The place it was taken, Livingston, is actually a perfect jumping off point into the Yucatan and Honduras so it’s pretty well connected if you ever do make it there.
