Traveler’s Talk Back

July 8, 2011 By Jillian

One of the first lessons we learned about travel, before we even left, was to solicit advice from others.   Whether we take it or leave it, we have always found comfort in hearing other’s stories, suggestions, tips, hints or tricks.  The perspective of another traveler, of someone else along the same road is invaluable – even just for emotional comfort if nothing else.  On the road it felt good to know that we weren’t alone in our journey that our readers were following along with us, but also that there were other travelers out there on the web that we could turn to for advice.

We’re going to be profiling several travelers and long-term travel topics over the next few weeks.  We hope that this becomes an avenue for discussion and thought, not just a one way conversation.  We’ve titled this series Traveler’s Talk Back or TTB for short.  Leave a comment below on what topics you’d like us to cover in this series.  We want to try and approach travel from a different direction, our policy has always been to be transparent, so feel free to toss us anything you’re interested in.

Our TV Debut

December 1, 2009 By Jillian

Made our TV debut yesterday on WSFL’s the Morning Show here in South Florida. The lady who went before us had some cool moon bouncy fitness shoes- a tough act to follow,  but I think we carried our own.  Hopefully the interview will increase exposure to the possibility of long-term travel for people and maybe less people will think we’re crazy.  Maybe not. 🙂

It was a great interview, many thanks to the cast & crew of the show!!! In case you missed it here’s the interview:

We’d love to hear any thoughts you have on the interview or long-term travel in general.
