The amazing Thor’s Well exists at Cape Perpetua, Oregon. It is a salt water fountain created by the power of the ocean’s tides and is extremely popular yet also equally dangerous. Specifically during winter storms and at high tides, visiting this place can be a life threatening experience. Many adventurous people have lost their lives in their attempts to get close photographs of this unique wonder of nature.
This place is amazingly suited to photography. Many people believe that the best photographs of this place can be obtained during sunset, though it looks equally beautiful at any time of the day. But these beautiful photos are not easy to get. Sharp rocks and fast winds make this experience very adventurous but also very dangerous at the same time. This photo here shows this dangerous natural asset in a very beautiful and peaceful manner and has definitely been clicked by one of those brave photographers.
IF YOU GO: If you ever visit this place then you must also visit the nearby Rock Shelf which is equally great. No matter what though, don’t forget nature’s power and BE CAREFUL!
