Visiting the Taj Mahal was crazy. It was a little microcosm of India. From standing in line for security (men and women separate) Becka, Julia and I got a lot of attention. It wasn’t so bad at first, a large group of school girls in line with us let us go through the metal detector first, but not before each girl giggled “hello, how are you!” as we passed. In side was a different story and the stares inside drove the three of us crazy. Before we knew it we were staring and shouting back at men who came up to us surrepticiously to take our photo. I look at this photo and all I can do is sigh. The quiet before the storm.
